The morning began with that quiet, anticipatory stillness the estate does so well — mist lifting over the lake, the woodlands holding onto the last of their golden tones, and the house humming with excitement as Pippa got ready with her closest people. Her laughter carried through the rooms long before she stepped into her dress.
